This film was a very provocative yet harsh reality in today's society. The husband who seems perfect with his education and well paying job, but is never satisfied with the love of just his wife. He feels to make himself complete he has to have countless affairs probably due to something he lacked as a child while growing up. I don't feel that Luisa should have sought out her revenge with the two young friends however I don't blame her for getting even. Besides the fact that Luisa was in a dead end marriage it turns out that she was attempting to live out her last bit of time free and happy before she died. Luisa was diagnosed with cancer and decided to live like everyday could be her last.
The boys seem to be just typical teenagers with raging hormones. They think they love their girlfriends that left them to travel but yet the first chance they got the girls were long forgotten, that is until they both admit to having sex with each others girlfriend.
Although the family that the 3 encountered on their journey were clearly struggling to survive, they too seemed to be happy and living each day for what it's worth. The parents did what they needed to to ensure that their children were fed, clothed and sheltered.
Regardless of how provocative this film was I feel that the bottom line is to live your life free of life's everyday worries, live each day to the fullest, and always do what makes you happy, even if only for the moment.
